This article gives good pointers to parents in preparing their child who may have processing problems, ADHD, or other learning disability make the best transition possible from side line to playing under a coach on a team.
This article is also very valuable for COACHES to read as they most likely have had, currently have or will have players with some sort of learning disability on their teams. Underststanding some of the obstacles as well as the desires of these players can only enhance the athletic experience for everyone!
